Overview:

In Outbursts, the player holding the device must describe the displayed phrase for their team members to guess. The device is passed around until the buzzer goes off. If caught holding the device when the buzzer sounds, the opposing team earns a point.

Full Directions:

1. Divide into two evenly matched teams and form a circle ensuring no player sits next to a teammate (alternate seating).
2. Choose a player to commence the game. This player provides clues about the word to prompt someone on their team to correctly guess it.
3. Avoid using the word itself or offering clues that sound similar to the target phrase.
4. Upon successful guessing, pass the device to the next player (from the opposing team) by swiping left to reveal a new word.
5. Continue playing until time runs out. The team holding the device when the buzzer goes off loses (resulting in a point for the opposing team). Repeat until one team reaches the required points for victory.
